SHOR Health

SMS Terms

SHOR HEALTH LLC · Effective 25 September 2026 · Version 2026-09-25

These terms are also included as Section 5 of our Terms of Service.

Program. SHOR HEALTH LLC operates a recurring text message program called SHOR, which sends supportive messages to family members and friends of people affected by substance use or a mental health condition.

Consent. Participation is voluntary. Consent to receive messages is never a condition of purchasing anything. You must be 18 or older and the subscriber or customary user of the phone number you provide.

Message frequency. Approximately two messages per day, plus occasional service messages such as account or billing notices. Frequency may vary.

What we send. Short supportive messages written for family members, prompts you can reply to, notices about your private Circle, and links to your account. We do not name medications in any message, and messages never reference or disclose information about any other person.

How to stop. Reply STOP to any message to cancel. You will receive one confirmation message and then no further messages. Reply START to rejoin.

How to get help. Reply HELP to any message, or email help@shorhealth.com.

Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier's standard rates apply to messages you send and receive. SHOR does not charge for the messages themselves.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Supported carriers. Most major United States carriers are supported. Carrier support may change without notice.

Quiet hours. We do not send program messages outside daytime hours in your local time zone.

Crisis language. If a message you send contains language suggesting immediate risk, our system sends an automatic reply pointing you to 911 and 988. This is an automated response, not a person, and it does not mean anyone has reviewed your message. Because it is a safety message, it may be sent even if you have previously replied STOP.

Privacy. Mobile information is never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy.

SHOR is support, not treatment. It is not therapy or emergency care. If someone is in immediate danger, call 911. For emotional support or a crisis, call or text 988.
